Memory allows to memorize complex sequences of different operations and quickly reproduce them, which is essential for production and manufacturing. Production has an important role in the economic model of the game, thousands of people are engaged in production only, and they must have this attribute well trained.
Memory is the primary attribute for Drones, Industry, Corporation Management and Learning skill groups. The 11 skills of the Learning Group are generally recommended to be studied prior to any other skills, since they are responsible for the speed of learning of all other skills. They need to be trained at least upto the 4-th level in the first weeks of playing.
Memory is most efficiently used for Drones skill group. It allows to control a large number of drones at the same time, to improve the performance parameters of drones, allows to manage more powerful combat drones. Since drones are widely used in combat operations, these skills are important for so-called "droners". A heavy drone, for example, is more powerful then a frigate, and a player can control several of such drones simultaneously.
Corporation Management skills are responsible for social structures - alliance and corporation management. Another attribute for them is Charisma. If skills level grows, a player can include more members into corporation (generally creation of corporations and alliances in Eve is very complicated, compared to many other games).
The 31 skills of the Industry group are the most practical and useful application of the attribute Memory. They are the most important skills, responsible for ore extraction and processing, production lines establishment, production itself. They are the basis of all the industry in the game, and when the possibility to obtaining resources directly on the planets is introduced, the number of these skills will apparently increase.
